- Ethnicity: Half Irish- half Polish (parents deceased)
- Youngest of 3 children. (One brother, one sister- both live in Erie)
- Born in Erie and raised in North East. [That would be a silly distinction to much of the country but if you note a difference between East, West and North Warren, you get it.]
- Spent 16 years (and a bunch of $) at Gannon University between undergrad and graduate degrees, night school and misc. seminary courses.
- Worked full time at GE in Erie for 10 years and then for a couple of summers while in the seminary (gotta pay them bills;) Worked as System Engineer of electrical systems for transit (subway) vehicles.
- Went to St. Mary Seminary in Baltimore MD.
- Ordained to priesthood in 2002.
