To My Spiritual Family of Holy Redeemer and St. Anthony, On a Mission for Lent: The only sadness is not to be a saint, right? We are created by God to live a life of holiness here on earth and then to live in unimaginable bliss for all eternity...
To My Spiritual Family of Holy Redeemer and St. Anthony, Catholic Services Appeal: This Sunday is the official kick-off for the 2023 Catholic Services Appeal. Not only do our contributions support the various works of the Church in this region, but we will be using the monies that are above and beyond the diocesan assessment to replace the damaged baptismal font at Holy Redeemer.
To My Spiritual Family of Holy Redeemer and St. Anthony, Our Lenten Mission: The beautiful season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22. You and I have a mission this Lent: Growth in holiness! The fact is - if we are not drawing closer to the heart of Christ, we are necessarily falling away. To assist in this mission, we are having . . . well . . . a Mission!
To My Spiritual Family of Holy Redeemer and St. Anthony, Tithing Our Blessings: The parish tithe this February will go to support the compassionate work done by Hospice of Warren County. End-of-life palliative care ensures that a dying person completes their earthly course in a manner which speaks to the dignity of every human life.
